Commissions

Do you dream of having a custom piece of artwork on your wall? Perhaps it's a favourite spot from a wonderful vacation you had, a destination you wish to travel to one day, or a favourite pet or animal that holds a special place in your heart.

We will collaborate and work together to make this piece a combination of both of our visions. I will capture the essence of your subject in my own unique style. Your painting will be my own interpretation of your vision.

Commission Process: Your Photo > Digital Source > Progress Pictures > Finished Painting

Step 1

Fill out the form below to tell me the vision you have in mind.

Step 2

Please gather any relevant photos that would be helpful: pinterest inspiration boards, photos of your house where you will hang your painting, photos of the subject matter you would like me to paint, etc.

Step 3

We will schedule a time for a phone or a Zoom video call so we can discuss the commission together. After, I will send you the quote and paperwork to finalize the details.

Step 4

Once the paperwork is approved and specifics have been worked out, I require a 30% deposit. This deposit puts you in the queue for my commissions. Due to the personalized nature of a commission, the deposit is non-refundable after the art has been started. However, if you decide not to go through with the commission after paying, you can apply the payment towards any other artwork available on my website so you will get something you love either way!

Step 5

I'll send you a digital source of the painting before I paint it to ensure your satisfaction. Once you approve, I will start painting.

Step 6

I will provide progress pictures as I paint to ensure you are satisfied with the direction the painting. I will do my best to accommodate any changes or will communicate when a change is not possible. I reserve the right to limit the number of revisions. There are physical limits to what can or cannot be altered. Too many revisions runs the risk of overworking the painting and producing an inferior result.

Step 7

Once the final painting is approved and completed, the remaining 70% balance is due. Once paid in full, you receive your customized artwork! Free delivery, drop off or pickup is available within Saskatoon. Shipping within Canada is free.

How much will my comission cost?

I charge $2 CAD per square inch for commissions, so the price of the painting depends on what size you desire.
Here are some examples of standard sizes of canvases that can work either horizontal or vertical:

16” x 20” = $640
18” x 24” = $864
24” x 36” = $1728
30” x 40” = $2400
