After completing the 100 painting challenge, I wanted to incorporate the new techniques that I learned into a larger piece. The initial layers were chaotic, wild and loose. It was a challenge to tame the frenzy and to find a way to balance abstract with realism. It wasn't until I added the container at the bottom where it felt settled and complete.
A bit of an oxymoron, but that's who I am sometimes.
