To pass beyond the limits of a conception
To be greater than, as in quality or intensity; surpass.
To exist above and independent of material experience or the universe.
This was of those paintings that comes together so easily. I loved painting the colours, the clouds, the small flock of birds and the detailed feathers of the main bird. I love the feeling that this gives, of flying over and above everything, looking down and seeing the world below.
